Threaded & Chambered Brux Barrels

We are proud to announce that we are now using Brux Barrels as our main supplier of blanks. Brux barrels are single point cut rifled, with 4 grooves and double hand lapped. They represent the best value and accuracy for your Savage rifle. Many new records have been set with Brux barrels over the last few years, and we have many satisfied customers. We are very satisfied with the finish, inside and out, and especially the accuracy.

Standard blanks can be up to 28” long, and longer blanks can be special ordered at an additional cost of $10.00 per inch.

We offer 4 standard contours for the Savage rifle:

Twist rates: Brux can cut any twist rate between 1-4 to 1-43, in increments of 1/10th of an inch. We will stock the most popular twist rates depending on what is common at the time .If we don’t have that blank on the shelf, it can be cut per customer order.

All barrels are fully chambered and threaded for Savage rifles, standard or large shank and are finished with a customer choice of either a 320 grit polish or bead blasted matte.

Additional Notes:

  1. We will also finish blanks from other manufacturers if provided by the customer (we will not order it for you). 

  2. We will also chamber for cartridges not listed below if the customer supplies the reamer.

  3. An additional fee of $40 will be charged to turn you barrel to a custom contour (sporter, etc.)
